Our December

This was the boys' combined classes walking field trip to a fire station.  It was quite the undertaking, but it all went just fine.

Isaac borrowing my sunglasses to look up at the firefighter climbing the ladder.
Afterwards, we ate lunch together in J.T.'s classroom.
I think this is Isaac's favorite part of December: egg nog!
J.T. helping Isaac eat a pixie stix by pouring it in his mouth.  So helpful. :)

Making some homemade ornaments with pipe cleaners, construction paper, and popsicle sticks.  We kept our craft table up all month to keep coloring and constructing.
Taking a paddle wheel ferry to the Children's Museum.  Awesome!  This was something we did during one of the times AJ was gone.
 Giant train room!
 Fishing!  (The magnetic way.)
Isaac clapping for his brothers.  He was very enthusiastic!

 And finally headed back home.
These last ones are pretty self-explanatory.  Another thing to occupy ourselves without Daddy.

Pics from October #7

Halloween at school!  Drew dressed as a farmer and J.T. as a pirate.

Then J.T. wanted to change into another costume for trick-or-treating.  AJ was on duty so we made sure to get pictures.  I texted some pics to him on the ship while we were going around the neighborhood.

Pics from October #6

This was on one of AJ's duty days (on the ship).  I wanted some cute pictures, but these are the ones they gave me instead.  Then Drew wanted to take a picture of me, too.

Pics from October #5

Here are pictures from the Halloween party at church.
This is Drew as Optimus Prime.

 Our Isaac Spider Man.

And J.T. as Bumblebee (another Transformer, Mom).

Pics from October #4

Here is another one of Isaac's recent exploits.  Look familiar?  It's the same thing that Drew and J.T. did in March.  We can't use the laptop keyboard anymore; we have an extra keyboard that we have to plug in.

Pics from October #3

This is what I came in to find Isaac doing one afternoon.  And no, that is not a dry erase marker; it's a red permanent marker.  It took a lot of hard scrubbing, but combined with warm water and baking soda it all came off.

Pics from October #2

Making cookies with the boys.  Except I left the kitchen for a few minutes, so Isaac measured a cup of baking soda for me.  So thoughtful.

 Crazy boys!!

Pics from October #1

This was on a Sunday morning before Church.  AJ started rolling up the boys in a blanket, which they thought was HILARIOUS.  And then they wanted to roll him up.  I'll have you notice there is only one person who has started getting ready for church.  Of course, AJ would have me point out that that's the person who takes the longest to get ready.  :)

I don't know why it rotated that one.  I uploaded it three times, and it kept doing that.

Playgroup at the Beach!!

My boys officially love the beach. We've had our last two playgroups there, and we LOVE it!! J.T. and Drew would swim until they got cold, then I'd bury them until they got hot. We had an awesome time! Isaac played and played in the sand (we took buckets, shovels, trucks, and cars: he was totally set), and played in the water some, too. This beach is so shallow; I swam and swam for 20 to 25 yards, and the water still didn't come above my waist. They see dolphins fairly often here, but we haven't seen any yet.
